Science/Technology Writers and Editors – TechLink
TechLink is seeking to create a roster of writers and editors through a Request For Proposal (RFP) to research, write or edit, and deliver to TechLink success stories and/or other technical or scientific stories for Department of Defense technology transfer programs. Initially, these activities will be specific to the Air Force SBIR/STTR Program, but will broaden to include DoD-wide technology transfer programs. TechLink has approximately 60 success story projects that it would like to contract to various writers or editors. Work on other technical or scientific success story writing and editing for Department of Defense technology transfer programs is expected to be ongoing beyond the completion of writing and editing for the Air Force SBIR/STTR Program in December, 2014.
TechLink is a Department of Defense partnership intermediary located at Montana State University in Bozeman.
Requirements
Science or technology writers must be able to:
- Provide documentation or samples of articles published in science or technology publications, particularly those featuring the benefits of new innovations, OR popular science or technical writing obtained through education or experience, OR a combination thereof, particularly those featuring the benefits of new innovations.
- Be available for writing in at least one of the following months: June, July, August, September, October, November or December of 2014.
Science or technology editors must be able to:
- Provide documentation or samples of published articles the Offeror has edited for science or technology publications, particularly those featuring the benefits of new innovations, OR popular science or technical editing obtained through education or experience, OR a combination thereof, particularly those featuring the benefits of new innovations.
- Be available for editing in at least one of the following months: June, July, August, September, October, November or December of 2014.
