Introducing ASBPE’s inaugural B2B Editorial Leadership Academy – Sign Up Now!

The American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE) is proud to announce its inaugural B2B Editorial Leadership Academy, a one-day certificate program designed to help prepare business-to-business journalists for advancement to senior management positions at their publications. The first-ever academy will be Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at the Euromoney Institutional Investor Plc offices in New York City.

Participants will receive cutting-edge instruction on B2B leadership traits, business-model disruptors and revenue opportunities, relationships between editorial and advertising departments, and editorial participation in events and awards programs.

The academy was created to meet the needs of:

  • Senior B2B editorial officials who desire a refresher and the ASBPE certificate
  • Mid-career B2B editors, writers, designers and multimedia and social media professionals ready for advancement to senior level
  • Earlier-career B2B editorial professionals whose publishers confirm an imminent promotion to supervisory positions
  • Freelance contractors are eligible! (As long as they are on one of the above tracks)

Attendees who complete the instruction will be awarded an ASBPE Certificate of Completion.

The academy is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A box lunch and coffee/snacks will be served.

Sign up before Oct. 1 to save $50 off tuition. Early-bird registration is $159. Regular registration, after Oct. 1 if there are seats remaining, is $209. Final deadline Nov. 1.

The Euromoney Institutional Investor offices are walking distance (or short ride) from Penn Station (Amtrak), Grand Central Terminal and Port Authority Bus Terminal. Nearest subway stop is 42nd Street-Bryant Park on the B,D,F,M line. Currently there is no official hotel for this event. Check your favorite discount travel websites for hotel deals.
