2021 ASBPE Conference Weekly Topic Webinars

ASBPE’s 2021 National Conference is a month-long online event, which will feature publishing leaders who are charting a new path forward for B2B journalism. ASBPE will host weekly topical webinars on the following topics. You must register for Charting B2B’s Path Forward in order to attend. Below are details on each webinar planned for the event.

Week 1: How to Improve Your Editorial Workflow

Time: Tuesday, May 4 at 2 p.m. EDT
Managing editorial workflow became more complex with the move to digital-first publishing strategies, and the pandemic-related move to remote work arrangements have only added to the challenges. Join this session to discover tools and tips for increasing efficiencies in your editorial and design process, from story creation and assignment to publishing in print, web and newsletters. Topics to be covered include:

  • Managing workflow with freelancers and designers
  • Workflow practices for quality control
  • Policies and procedures for streamlining the editorial process
  • How to get staff buy-in for adopting workflow tools and procedures

Week 2: Beyond Print: Best Practices for Telling Great Stories with Podcasts and Videos

Time: Tuesday, May 11 at 2 p.m. EDT

  • Tips for streamlining the production process
