Managing Editor – Level 5 Communications

Level 5 Communications, publisher of Desktop Engineering magazine, as well as related business-to-business websites and newsletters, seeks an experienced managing editor. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in print and online editing, strong writing, editing and organization skills, be self-motivated and deadline oriented. Engineering experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

The managing editor will manage contributors, maintain relationships with readers and public relation firms, manage budgets, edit content, create original content for print and web, help prepare the editorial calendar, attend and report on industry events, and keep the sales team apprised of editorial plans.
