The webinar will cover tips and strategies for success with virtual events.
With traditional events sidelined for the foreseeable future, B2B publications need to pivot to virtual events. But this changes the game for everything from programming and presentation to audience recruitment and sponsorship. Join ASBPE for a panel discussion with two B2B veterans who have found ways to navigate these uncharted waters.
The webinar will take place from 2-3 p.m. EDT, Thursday, Aug. 13.
Panelists include Stephanie Martinez, general manager of ASU GSV Summit LLC, and Christine Weiser, content director of Tech & Learning and Tech & Learning University.
Martinez leads operations for one of the premier education technology summits, which was canceled in the spring just weeks before it was scheduled to begin. Since then, she and the ASU GSV team have converted programming into a series of online events. Earlier in her career, Martinez was the chief operating officer of a B2B publishing company that ran both large and small events.
Weiser and her team at Tech & Learning have been conducting a variety of virtual events since the pandemic went into full force earlier this year. Events she’s helped to lead include a full-day conference, a series of weekly roundtables and a small-group leadership summit.
During the webinar, Martinez and Weiser will share what they’ve learned about best practices for virtual events, warn you about common and unexpected obstacles and hazards, and share tips for ensuring attendee and sponsor satisfaction.
