Insurance Journal—The world’s most read property/casualty insurance publication—seeks talented and experienced reporter/editor to provide all Northeast (from Virginia to Maine) and some national coverage. Must develop original news and feature reports for print, digital and video, as well as edit and post press releases and newswire articles. Write on state legislation and regulation, financial results, personnel and products, public policy and court decisions, business mergers and start-ups, business and executive profiles, business management and marketing, sales and distribution, technology and customer trends and more. Must be comfortable with financial and business terms and familiar with AP style. Familiarity with WordPress and InCopy a plus but not necessary. Tech and social media-savvy a plus. This is a full time, telecommuting job; some flexibility in hours required to meet various deadlines. Computer and other tools provided. Occasional travel to conventions or meetings.
