Business-to-business publisher is seeking a full-time Senior Editor to handle project management and creation of multimedia content for technology/engineering-oriented media source out of our Chicago offices.
Job Requirements: Responsibilities largely focus on content-related project management: Working closely with all stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality publication of industrial automation and technology-based news content for website, print and related products; managing editorial and publication aspects for online editions of the magazine and individual eNewsletters; regularly gathering and writing content on assigned topics; suggesting and producing multimedia content such as videos, podcasts, webcasts, or custom publications; and working closely with other editors to update website as necessary.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years related experience and a proven ability to manage all aspects of the print and online publication process, including online publication and website management, social media, copyediting/proofreading, and vendor management. Experience with online publishing tools such as Joomla and Drupal is a plus.
