Butters joined the organization as its chief content officer in 2018. He has covered the auto industry in Detroit for more than two decades: first at the Detroit Free Press for eight years as a reporter and editor, then serving 10 years at Bloomberg News in Detroit, mostly as an editor and team leader. Butters studied journalism at the University of Iowa, graduated with a finance degree from the University of Kentucky and studied China and its economy as a Knight Wallace Fellow at the University of Michigan.

Enslen is the former editorial manager at CSC and former contributing editor to The Editorial Eye. She spent eight years on the board of ACES: The Society for Editing, and served as managing editor of Tracking Changes, the society’s quarterly journal. Enslen has received multiple awards for her writing and in 2020 was named a Fellow of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. She is also a writer for the Grammar Girl podcast.

Before entering the non-profit industry, Evans spent his career as a visual journalist for Bloomberg News, Bloomberg Government, and USA Today. There, he collaborated closely with reporters, editors, analysts, and other multimedia professionals to create animated-diagrammatic infographics, data visualizations, and multimedia essays. His work has been recognized by the Society of News Design, Editor & Publisher, the National Press Photographers Association, and the Online News Association. Evans earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in communication arts and design from Virginia Commonwealth University.
